41.6% of the population In 2022, the population of Timiș County was 760,259 inhabitants,
lives in the rural area 366,966 male and 393,293 female, ranking 6th at national level after
Bucharest-Ilfov (2,640,769), Iasi (980,865), Prahova (770,100), Suceava
(762,598) and Constanţa (755,287).
